Free Antenatal
‘Preparing to Breastfeed’
Sessions
I offer free ‘Preparing to Breastfeed’ sessions so that you can feel informed, confident and prepared for your baby’s arrival.
These free antenatal sessions are for anyone expecting a baby who would like to prepare for breastfeeding and the early weeks of parenthood. We’ll cover areas such as the first feed, establishing breastfeeding, normal newborn behaviour, responsive feeding, the fourth trimester, and practical ways to prepare before your baby is born.
You may be planning to breastfeed for a few days, a few weeks, a few months or longer. My aim is to help you feel informed, reassured and ready for the transition to parenthood. Of course partners are very welcome!
These sessions can take place as a home visit in Plymouth, or online by secure video call.
There is no obligation to book further sessions.
