Work with Me
Breastfeeding is just one part of transitioning to motherhood, and breastfeeding support is about SO much more than feeding.
I provide a calm, safe and reassuring space where you can ask questions, build confidence and feel supported as you navigate the challenges of new parenthood.
After each session, you’ll receive a personalised summary of what we’ve discussed, including observations we’ve made, practical suggestions and your next steps. I’ll also include any relevant, evidence-based information that may be useful to explore, helping you to understand your options and make sense of what we’ve talked about. This means you don’t have to remember everything from the session - you’ll have something to refer back to when you need it, and we’ll have a shared record that we can build on for future sessions.
You don’t need to be struggling to seek support. Sometimes having someone alongside you to offer reassurance, give a little practical guidance or simply help you find your way can make a big difference.
What happens in
a session?
A session with me is a calm, supportive space focused on you and your baby.
We’ll start by exploring your feeding journey so far, what feels challenging, and what might help.
I’ll listen carefully and without judgement, with plenty of time to talk things through and for me to understand your situation, your goals, and what matters most to you.
I can help you make sense of what’s been happening and recognise what you’re already doing well, in the context of transitioning to new motherhood.
We can observe a feed together and I can offer some feedback and practical suggestions.
I’ll explain the reasoning behind my suggestions and provide evidence-based information from reliable sources.
Together, we’ll create a clear action plan for your next steps and make sure all your questions are answered.
After the session, you’ll receive a personalised written summary that you can refer back to, with links to any further information that may help.
